To commemorate Michael's birthday on August 29th, fans from all around the world are making a donation to a charity in honour of Michael. Fans nominate their favourite charities and of these, three finalists will be chosen. Everyone then takes a vote and donate to the charity with the most votes. Update

All your gifts are in! Here is the letter that CURE is sending to the family.

Thank you to everyone who participated, and for keeping Michael's memory alive. He would be proud to know that you are all continuing to make the world a better place!

P.S. - If you want to continue donating to the charity, you can certainly do so. Just follow the same instructions, and add the name and address of whoever you want the card sent to. Charity does not have to stop just because Michael's birthday is over. Do leave a comment below and let us know if you donated!

This is great Johanna! I'm happy to see the results. I think we did very well considering where the numbers stood just last week! It's nice to be able to see the letter that was sent to the Jacksons, and I received a very nice letter from the Cure Childhood Cancer organization too. Makes you feel like you did something worthwhile. And it's something the Jacksons can be proud of, knowing Michael has influenced so many to give to others in need.

Please let me know if you decide to do another project like this. I would rather put my money toward a cause that I know Michael would support rather than placing flowers at his buriel site. It's a nice gesture, and it's sure beautiful to see all those flowers placed there, representing just how much he is loved! But, for me, since I'm not wealthy and I can't do both, I choose to put my money toward helping others.

Thank you so much for coordinating this!

God Bless You!
